What exactly are these products?

Our products are nutrition supplements, which contain food-based nutrients in doses that have scientifically validated benefits to our health.

What are adaptogens?

Adaptogens are a special class of plants and herbs that help your body “adapt” to and overcome stress, while helping to restore balance to your body–so it’s functioning at its optimal level. While all adaptogens help your body manage stress, they each have unique personalities and benefits.

What are nootropics?

Nootropics are “smart drugs” that enhance cognitive function such as memory, focus, learning, creativity, and intelligence. We only use all-natural, plant-based nootropics, including Lion’s Mane Mushroom, Gotu Kola, Rhodiola, and Ginkgo Biloba.

Do I need to take multivitamins?

Multivitamins are supplements that contain many essential vitamins and minerals. This is a form of insurance against any potential deficits / deficiencies in your diet. In our fast-paced lives, a balanced diet sometimes takes a backseat – and hence multivitamins are like a “cover all your bases” supplement.

How do I take supplements?

For many people, breakfast is the most convenient time for taking a supplement. You will want to take it in a way that maximizes the absorption of its nutrients (i.e., essential vitamins and minerals) so it is recommended that you take your supplements with a meal in the morning or early afternoon.

Does taking supplements replace the need for a varied and balanced diet?

As the name suggests, dietary supplements are only intended to “supplement” people’s diets and not replace healthy foods. Everyone should aim to eat as varied and balanced a diet as possible. However, many people do not meet their daily dietary recommendations – because of junk food and other low-nutritional foods, busy schedules, medical conditions, improper storage and preparation of foods etc.

Where do you source your ingredients from?

We obsessively source every ingredient from their native lands around the world, where they are cultivated best and have been used for hundreds, and even thousands, of years. Many of our adaptogens and superfoods are native to China, India, Japan, and Russia, which is where we source these ingredients from. We also source several superfoods from other regions in Asia, Europe, and South America. We sustainably source certified organic or wildcrafted ingredients only.

How are your products formulated?

We work with a team of leading herbalists and experts to formulate highly effective, synergistic, and safe products that can be taken daily. Our team has over 25+ years of combined experience in Traditional Chinese Medicine, Ayurvedic Medicine, Western herbalism, and adaptogens. We also obsessively test and taste each product hundreds of times to ensure the most effective and beneficial products.

Are your products 3rd party lab tested?

Yes. We are 100% committed to delivering the safest products you can trust, day in and day out. We rigorously test every ingredient and final product at leading independent labs in India to ensure quality, purity, and safety, we test for microbiology, heavy metals, pesticides, and allergens like gluten.

Are your products FDA regulated?

Yes, our supplements adhere to the FDA’s rules and guidelines for dietary supplements and follow FDA’s cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices) and the labeling and claim guidelines. The FDA does not approve dietary supplements as they do over-the-counter drugs, but they do regulate them to ensure manufacturers are testing and producing their products to be safe. Our products are certified by AYUSH and FSSAI. We’re also highly committed to providing high quality, safe products through proper sourcing and rigorous testing.

What is the difference between RDA and DV?

Recommended Dietary Allowance (RDA) is the amount of a certain nutrient you should get each day based on your age, gender, and whether you are pregnant or breastfeeding.

On a supplement label, you’re more likely to see the acronym DV, which stands for Daily Value. This represents how much of a nutrient the supplement provides regarding a total daily diet. For example, if a calcium supplement is labelled “50% DV,” it contains 500 mg of calcium per serving, because the DV for calcium is 1,000 mg per day. Sometimes the DV contained in a supplement will be higher than the RDA for certain people. In many cases, there is no DV for a supplement, so the label will reflect that.

Are they safe? Do they have any side effects?

All our products are completely safe to use, with no side effects. It is important for anyone who has food allergies to peruse the ingredients of a product (available on each product page) before consumption.

I am suffering from a particular ailment; can I still have your supplements?

If the particular ailment is reflective of a medical condition, we advise you to seek the guidance of a health practitioner before utilization. All our formulas are intended to help support, protect and defend against ailments.

For how long should I take these pills?

AVALIFE products are not intended to be medical cures for any condition. However, these formulations are dietary supplements and intended to supplement and improve your nutritional status. Your nutritional status helps you strengthen body functions against today’s prevalent lifestyle diseases. For long term benefits, AVALIFE supplements need to be consumed for AT LEAST 1 month.

Can I get this medicine at some store?

AVALIFE formulations are unique and proprietary and thus can only be found through AVALIFE. They are not medicines.

Can I have these supplements on an empty stomach?

Please refer to instructions for your particular formula. In general, most of these supplements are best utilized with meals for maximum absorption.

What are the side-effects of these pills?

Our products are designed to be safe when utilized according to the guidelines stated on the label. As long as you follow our carefully tailored consumption guidelines, your safety is guaranteed. However, if there is any medical condition present, please consult a health practitioner.

When will I start feeling its benefits?

Most nutrients encapsulated in our solutions are meant to be supportive through long term supplementation to improve your health. While some have a faster uptake, typically you need to follow a regimen for AT LEAST a month or two to start to feel its benefits.

Can I take AVALIFE’s pills once in a while and not every day?

No. There is no such thing as a quick fix, and our nutrient solutions are targeted at every day, long term supplementation to ensure the best results for you.

Do I need to restrict any foods or medicines when I take AVALIFE’s supplements?

Each of our products has specific instructions on consumption guidelines. We do not consider it our place to tell you what foods to take. If you are taking prescription medications, please consult with your medical professional about the possibilities of drug interactions.

Can I take your products while pregnant or breastfeeding?

To be safe, we recommend that you please consult your physician or healthcare practitioner if you plan on taking our supplements while you are pregnant or breastfeeding.
